How long will I need to work with a coach?
The number of coaching sessions needed can vary significantly depending on the client's specific goals and current stage in the process. Some clients may only require one to three months of work, while others may need six to eighteen months. A skilled coach will help clients become increasingly self-reliant and resourceful over the course of the engagement.
What does a coach do?
Coaches offer objective assessments, listen attentively, and serve as sounding boards. Crucially, they also encourage clients to challenge themselves and explore new perspectives.

What can I expect during a session?
During a coaching session, you can expect the coach to ask questions that explore your goals, identify areas for improvement, and envision your desired future. The session provides a safe, confidential space for you to openly challenge ideas or reflect on the discussion. The collaborative dialogue aims to guide you towards positive change.

What if I don't know the answer to a question?
If a client responds "I don't know" to a question, the coach has a few options. First, the coach can ask "What if you did know the answer?" This encourages the client to think more deeply about the question. If the client still doesn't provide a response, the coach can then move on to asking another question. The original question may resurface in the client's mind later on during the session.
